Acceptable Use Policy

1. No fraud or deception

Do not use Lucid Signing to create, send or collect signatures on documents that are fraudulent, deceptive or intended to mislead a signer about what they are agreeing to. The signing process must reflect a genuine agreement.

2. No impersonation

Do not impersonate another person or organisation, sign on behalf of someone without their authority, or misrepresent a signer’s identity. Each recipient must be the person you say they are.

3. No coercion or exam-style misuse

Do not use the platform to pressure a person into signing, to collect signatures under false pretences, or to substitute a signature where the law requires the signer’s independent, informed consent that Lucid Signing cannot verify.

4. No abusive or unlawful content

Do not upload or send documents that:

• Contain unlawful, harassing, hateful or threatening content.
• Infringe someone else’s intellectual property or privacy.
• Contain malware, or links intended to phish or defraud recipients.

5. No abuse of the platform

• Do not circumvent plan limits, token security or access controls.
• Do not probe, scan or test the security of the service without written permission (see responsible disclosure in our Security overview).
• Do not use automated means to overload or disrupt the service.

6. Enforcement

We may suspend or close accounts that breach this policy, remove offending documents and, where appropriate, report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities. Report abuse to info@lucidsigning.com.
