1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. “Similar technologies” includes local storage and session storage, which serve the same purposes. We use them to keep you signed in, to keep the service secure and to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used.

These make the service work and cannot be switched off. They include:

• lucid_cookie_consent - the record of the choice you make on the banner. It stores only that choice and the date you made it, and it lasts six months, after which we ask again.

3. Optional analytics

If we use analytics, it is privacy-respecting and aggregate: we look at which pages are visited and where the product can be clearer, not at who you are. These are only set with your consent, and you can decline them without losing any functionality. Until you choose “Accept all”, no analytics cookie is set and no analytics script is loaded at all.

4. Controlling cookies

You can accept or decline optional cookies from the banner shown on your first visit. Declining takes one click, exactly like accepting. To change your mind later, choose Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page - it brings the banner back. You can also clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings, though blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from signing in.
