About Propalot
Propalot is a South African property platform: listings, applications, leases and the paperwork that follows a property from first viewing to signed agreement. The people using it are letting agents, landlords and the tenants and buyers on the other side of the table - most of whom are not at a desk when the document that needs their signature arrives.
Property paperwork is unusually signature-heavy. A single letting can mean a mandate for the agent, an application, a lease with two or three parties, an addendum a month later and a renewal a year on. Each one used to mean printing, driving, scanning or waiting - and the deal was only as fast as its slowest signature.

How it runs inside Propalot.

Propalot drafts the document
The lease, mandate or offer is generated inside Propalot from the listing and the parties on it. Nothing is retyped: the names, the address and the terms come straight off the property record.

It goes out through Lucid Signing
Propalot keeps its standard agreements as Lucid Signing templates with the signature, initial and date blocks already placed. Sending is a matter of naming the parties, not laying out fields again for every property.

Everyone signs in the right order
A lease routes to the tenant first, then the landlord, then the agent to countersign - each person is emailed only when it is their turn. Offers to purchase carry a one-time code, so the buyer proves the inbox is theirs before the document opens.

The signed copy comes home
Reminders do the chasing in between. When the last signature lands, the executed PDF and its certificate of completion come back and are filed against the property, where the next person to open the file will find them.

Signed the same day, not the same week
A tenant can sign a lease from the viewing. The step that used to take a week - print, sign, scan, forward, repeat for the landlord - now takes as long as it takes people to read.
One record per property
The signed agreement, who signed it, from where and when all live on the property file. When a dispute surfaces two years later, the evidence is where the file is.
Agents stop chasing
The reminders go out on a schedule that Propalot sets once. An agent's day is spent showing property, not phoning to ask whether the lease has been signed yet.
